Review
Real Checkers 1.0 is the traditional checkers game for the PC, with a 3D Board.
Checkers is a board game played between two players, who alternate moves. The object of the game is to capture all the enemy pieces, or block them. The pieces move only over the dark squares, diagonally, one square at a time and always forward, for common pieces. The Kings can move backwards, too.
You capture your opponent pieces by jumping over them, provided there´s a vacant square behind them. If there´s another enemy piece to be captured when you land, you can jump over it and capture it.
The captured pieces are removed from the board. When you have no more pieces, you loose.
Every piece that reaches the last row of the board becomes a King.
In Real Checkers 1.0 you can choose to play against a human opponent or the computer.
You can enter your moves in the 3D Board or the tiny 2D board on the left of the screen. You can rotate your camera 180 degrees to see the board from your opponent´s side.
When you play against the computer, you will control the white pieces. The computer is a very weak opponent, you won´t have any trouble in defeating it. |
